ACCOLADES:

2006 Council’s Punch Bowl Sauvignon Blanc

Truly a punchbowl of tropical tones: styling fresh fruit aromas: racy citrus on the palate with a mother lode of crisp, clean acidity before a zesty payoff.
Tim Pawsey, June 24th, 2007

The Sauvignon Blanc is lush and vibrant with pineapple, lime, grass, peach hints, snap peas, lemon cream and mineral aromas. On the palate it shows clean,mouth-watering flavours of lemongrass, mandarin zest and a gentle brush of spice. A nicely rounded Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of juicy flavours rather than steely minerality and greenery.
Daenna van Mulligan, www.WineDiva.ca, June 24th, 2007

2006 Ogopogo’s Lair Pinot Grigio

88 points. This B.C. Pinot Grigio under screwcap has wonderful pear, nectarine, mineral, citrus, honey and floral aromas. The palate is crisp, dry and round with more citrus, minerals and a touch of vanilla. This wine is well made and fresh. Try it with any white fish, scallops, or medium-strength soft cheese.
Bruce Stephen, Vancouver Living Magazine, August 2007

The Pinot Grigio is brimming with creamy orchard fruit-bosch pear and nectarine, honey blossoms and fennel. It’s warm, spiced and rounded on the palate showing mouth-watering lemon spiked with vanilla and a long zesty finish.
Daenna van Mulligan, www.WineDiva.ca, June 24th, 2007

More mellow than monster, this nicely balanced Grigio yields stonefruit and citrus on the palate with a hint of honey, food friendly acidity and a lingering finish. More new world than old-and worth staking a claim.
Tim Pawsey, June 24th, 2007
